Admins

The admin management page is designed for managing administrator accounts within the system. This page provides functionalities for adding, updating, and listing admin profiles, allowing for efficient and organized administration. By implementing a detailed and user-friendly permissions management system, organizations can ensure that administrators have the appropriate level of access needed to perform their duties efficiently while maintaining data integrity and security.

Admins

The central component of the admin management page is the admin listing table. This table provides a comprehensive view of all the administrators registered in the system. Each row in the table represents an individual admin, with the following columns.

Displays the name of the admin, email address associated with the admin account, branches the admin is associated with, contact number of the admin, rules option to assign permission to admins, the unique biometric id assigned to the admin for secure authentication of attendance.

The table is equipped with sorting and filtering capabilities to facilitate easy navigation and management of admin records.

How To Add Admin

If you want to add a new admin click on the () plus icon. As soon as you click on the plus icon, a popup box appears.

Add admin popup screen modal includes several input fields such as name to enter the admin's full name, admin's telephone number, admin's biometric ID, which is used for secure login, email address, password to set or update the admin's password, checkboxes to select the branches where the admin will have administrative rights. The available options include various branch locations.

  • Close

    Cancels the operation and closes the page without saving any changes.

  • Save Changes

    Saves the inputted information and updates the admin records accordingly.

How To Edit Admin Details

If you want to edit admin details then you have to click on the pencil icon. As soon as you click on the pencil icon, a popup box appears.

  • Close

  • Save Changes

    Saves the inputted information and updates the admin records accordingly.

Assign Admin Permission

The page is titled with the name of the admin whose permissions are being assign. Each category has a set of radio buttons that allow the user to select the appropriate level of access. The available levels are:

  • Hidden

    The admin cannot view or interact with content in this section.

  • View Only

    The admin can only view the content but cannot make any changes.

  • View + Insert

    The admin can view and add new entries.

  • View + Insert + Modify

    The admin can view, add, and modify entries.

  • View + Insert + Modify + Delete

    The admin can view, add, modify, and delete entries.

  • Full Access + Data Export (PDF, CSV, Excel)

    The admin has full control over the section, including the ability to export data in multiple formats.

  • Close

    Closes the page without saving any changes made to the permissions.

  • Save Changes

    Saves the changes made to the admin's permissions and updates the system accordingly.

The user can select a permission level for each category by clicking the corresponding radio button. The selected option is visually highlighted to indicate the current permission level. The permissions set in this modal will dictate the admin's abilities within the specified categories, ensuring they have appropriate access based on their role and responsibilities.

How To Access Biometric
Punches

Beside the admin table, there is an arrow icon that allows users to quickly access admin's biometric records by clicking on the arrow option. Users can easily access biometric data of the admins from the admins section only.
